11/8/11 Final Report
On October 20th the League's Annual Meeting was held at Perkins Pancake House in Cortland, N.Y.
For those of you reading this on the Internet, you can read the Minutes of the Meeting by clicking on the "Minutes of the Fall Meeting" link in the right-hand column of this page. Those reading this by email have probably already received them from Steve Klimow.
The major results of the meeting are:
All teams are planning to return for next season.
A new slate of League Officers was elected. The are:
Commissioner: Milo Richmond
Vice Commissioner: Len Becchetti
Secretary: Steve Klimow
Treasurer: Ken Andrus
Roster Administrator:Paul Farbanish
As a result of various votes taken at the meeting, changes were made to League Rules 6a, 17c and 26. The League Rules have been updated to reflect the voted changes and are available on bingosoftball.com for your review. I must warn you that the rules were typed up using Microsoft Word so that there would a file that could be passed on to your new Secretary and not have to be re-typed. Microsoft Word is supposed to allow you to take the file and convert it to file format that displays as web page. It didn't work for me! So when you display the League Rules page it will look weird but is readable. If you print it out it will look better.
I have also updated the "Contact List" to reflect the changes in the new officers. I have not been able to obtain Milo Richmond's email address so if anyone has it and would like to share it, just send it to me and I'll add it to the Contact list.
This report will be the last update of this web site. Bingosoftball will remain "on the air" until the middle of January and then will go dark.
I have really enjoyed my association with league over the past few years. Its been a lot fun as well some personal satisfaction in that I proved to myself that I could create and run a web site. I thank you for the chance to have worked with all of you because I think these leagues provide a great service to the senior citizens of central New York and I was glad to be a part of it.
John Nichols.

Ancient Rome declined because it had a Senate; now what's going to happen to us with both Senate and a House?
I belong to no organized party. I am a Democrat.
Live in such a way that you would not be ashamed to sell your parrot to the town Gossip.
On account of being a democracy and run by the people, we are the only nation in the world that has to keep a government for four years, no matter what it does
